Dear Bob & Lori,
We just wanted to let you know how Cooper is doing. To say the least he is
a DREAM DOG!!!! We couldn't be happier! His personality and temperament
are so perfect for our family. He is very fun and playful enjoying the
outdoors and squirrel and bird chasing in the backyard! He loves to greet
the neighbor dogs and they have their little "conversations" over the fence.
He is quite the hound, hearing any noises or disturbances that threaten his
territory and communicating his confident presence! :) All the while he
will come immediately when I call "Cooper Shhhh" and receives a carrot! I
thank him for being who he was created to be and then let him know it's
enough now! :)
He is the best snuggler ever and very affectionate as you knew from the
beginning. Always giving out kisses and licks most wholeheartedly. If a
stranger comes to the door he screens them and then once put at ease
welcomes them with the finest hospitality! He loves cozy places and
although always sleeps in his crate at night, he often tucks the kids in and
burrows down to their toes for a cozy snuggle until they fall asleep!
He loves to go for walks and often lets us know he'd prefer a little run and
just is the happiest dog ever during those daily activities. He loves to
play with Connor after school in the yard and they have a great time chasing
each other and throwing the ball. He is healthy and doing really well, and
as you can see MOST handsome! He has, however, tried to eat a few bees and
gotten puffy lips from it...so we've had him in the vet for a swollen muzzle
a few times. A FINE DOG as we always say! He is bringing this family SO
much joy and does a great job at making everyone feel equally as
important . . he doesn't show favoritism:) He LOVES to go "in the car" to pick
kids up from school, sports or whatever as well.
I could go on and on!
Anyway...just wanted you to know he is doing well and we just LOVE him.
Everyone in our life does...we'll be converting people to doxie owners in no
time!
Hope all is well for you. We'll keep in touch!
Warmly,
Leslie Woods
